For me, it’s got to be Yoda

Why choose Yoda? What is about the values and characteristics of this fictional leader that we feel best represents how we build relationship with our clients and candidates?

He may be a small green guy but as Yoda said “Size matters not.” We are not a huge global firm and we do not behave or act like lots of other head-hunters.

What we are is a business where wisdom and knowledge is at the core of all we do. The Force at Mackenzie Jones binds us and flows through the whole business with a shared set of values that we live on a daily basis.

These values allow us to build meaningful trust based relationships with clients and candidates.  In fact we don’t differentiate between the two and we refer to all of our contacts as customers.

We are Customer Relationship Managers who challenge positively, knowledgeably and for all the right reasons.  We shall not turn to the dark side.

Internally and externally we follow Yoda’s advice “always pass on what you have learned.”   This is the value we bring to a relationship, the ability to share our knowledge, insight and experience with customers is indeed a powerful ally.

Yoda also wisely stated “patience you must have” This is great advice as real relationships with customer are not built overnight.  At Mackenzie Jones we embrace a Know, Like, Trust value chain and want to take all our customers on this journey.

We possess an entrepreneurial mind-set and we take this mind-set to our customers. We think of different solutions to different challenges.

Quoting Yoda again “The fear of loss is a path to the Dark Side,” if we don’t take risks (calculated ones…..) then we won’t try anything new and will stop standing out from the crowd and adding any real value to our customers.
