JDE, with head offices and manufacturing facilities in the UK and Europe for 265 years have been driven by their passion for coffee & tea, respect for the environment and care for people.

Brief

Mackenzie Jones have supported JDE to recruit a number of key appointments across the Supply Chain and Operations space. The business identified a challenge to recruit high performing talent at a mid to senior level with the ability to adapt to change and deliver dynamic, entrepreneurship and accountable leadership. JDE also required a sensitive approach to market, with a focus on ensuring their employer brand was represented correctly in the external market.

Having met with the Talent and Senior Leadership team, we came away with a clear appreciation of the business vision, cultural fit and how invested JDE truly are in nurturing and developing talent. We adopted a highly targeted approach, mapping and engaging with potential hires within the key competitor and allied industry set. Given the sensitively of the assignments we screened candidates on an in-depth basis to understand skill set, experience, cultural fit and watch out’s. Face to face meetings were arranged with candidates to investigate the brief, culture fit and align the process. During our screening, longlisting and shortlisting processes we kept in constant communication with JDE providing the team with progress updates, market insight, timelines and stand out candidates

Outcome

Working as an extension of the talent team, Mackenzie Jones have supported JDE to secure a number of strategic and operational hires to who are key catalyst’s in driving a step change in accountability, simplicity and operational excellence.
