Logistics Performance Manager

The Organisation
A leading FMCG manufacturer seeking to recruit a Logistics Performance Manager to join an expanding Logistics & Distribution team.

The Role

- Own the operational relationship with 3rd Party Logistics/Warehousing ensuring the delivery of service & costs are in line with the terms of agreed KPI’s & terms of the contract
- Support the delivery of improvement and cost reduction projects as part of the network strategy
- Be a subject matter authority, providing insight to wider business on 3PL operational process
- Present weekly/monthly/quarterly updates for review at financial & operational review
- Keep up to date with competitor operations and industry best practice to ensure logistics
- Budgetary control of activities related to Warehousing and logistics


The Candidate

- Previous experience in managing 3PL/4PL/Outsourced Warehousing Providers
- Good operational knowledge of Logistics/Warehousing gained within an FMCG manufacturer or 3PL environment
- Strong project management skills
- Strong analytical skills, with a results-oriented approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with SAP and Excel
