12 Month FTC or Day Rate 

My client, a global FMCG organisation, is recruiting an International Market, Strategy and Planning Lead for a period of 12 months on either an FTC or a day-rate basis.

The Organisation
A global brand and market leader within their category, they had an excellent 2020 and offer both an ambitious and value-driven culture.

The Role
This is a new and exciting role for the business with responsibility for setting international pricing and promotions strategy, working closely with distributors and regional managers. You'll be tasked with building new capability, putting all of the necessary systems and processes in place to ensure the long-term success of what will be a new pricing and promotions function. A stand-alone role initially, there is scope for the role to go perm with a view to building a team in time.

Key responsibilities include: 

- Carry out key pricing analysis making appropriate strategic recommendations on long-term price progression and price pack architecture to Distributors and regional managers
- Drive promotional strategic thinking and review the efficiency of trade promotional activity
- Establish a routine set of reports and dashboard system, working closely with the commercial team.
- Lead development of margin improvement plans with the commercial team
- Contribute to the development and implementation of trade promotional management system

The Ideal Candidate

- You will have a strong background within FMCG pricing and promotions, market strategy and planning or revenue growth management.
- A highly analytical and strategic individual, you will have a passion for international markets with a good knowledge of trade and customer environments.
- You will have experience of setting both Promotions and Pricing strategies
- You will be self-motivated, authoritative in nature with a real drive to influence and collaborate with others.
