David Mackenzie

David co-founded Mackenzie Jones and now heads our international base in Dubai. He began his career as a consultant in the sales and marketing division of Michael Page International before launching the temporary/ contract business as a Director for the London office. David was then approached by the newly formed TMP Worldwide group with a remit to build the Sales & Marketing business from scratch. Working closely with Paul Jones, the business grew to five offices and over 40 consultants covering all aspects of Sales & Marketing recruitment. An opportunity arose to work within Monster.co.uk, the Internet division of TMP. This involved restructuring Monster by creating a more sales- and customer-focused business. Having recruited a high calibre management team, this change programme was achieved earlier than anticipated – and Mackenzie Jones was born in 2003. David is currently learning desert driving which he’s not very good at.

Paul Jones

Paul began his recruitment career working as a Search Consultant at MSL Search & Selection specialising in resourcing Sales & Marketing professionals on a national and international basis. With its acquisition by the TMP Worldwide group, Paul was offered the opportunity to build a Sales & Marketing business in Birmingham and Manchester. The division grew rapidly and within six months had both a strong permanent and temporary/contract division. Paul took an internal transfer to join David at Monster.co.uk where Paul drove cultural, process and behavioural change across the UK sales teams. Having worked closely with the management team to achieve these goals, Paul combined his experience with David to start Mackenzie Jones. Paul is a connoisseur of the good life. He quite liked Felicity Kendal in the TV programme of the same name, too.
