Mackenzie Jones began when David Mackenzie and Paul Jones took a good look at their extensive recruitment experience – and then considered the direction that all too many recruitment agencies were headed. They decided they could do better. A lot better.

For David and Paul, recruitment is about a lot more than ‘throughput’, ‘numbers’ and ‘scattershot approaches’. They think that what it’s really about is people. And being decent sort of chaps, they felt that people – whether clients or candidates – deserve the kind of consideration and personal attention that were, unfortunately, becoming an increasingly rare experience in recruitment.

So with Mackenzie Jones they went back to basics – excellent service, personal involvement, honesty and courtesy at all points. Unsurprisingly, it’s proved something of a winning formula.
